Description
No. 16 Clarendon Road is a mid-19th century house constructed of red brick with stone details and a slate roof. The building features two storeys and attics, with a symmetrical three-bay facade. The central entrance has a pointed arch and a recessed porch, flanked by canted bay windows that have stone mullions and dentilled brick cornices. On the first floor, there is a single-light window in the center, flanked by paired windows, all adorned with decorative stone arches and trefoil recesses. The house has three gables over half dormers, which contain pointed arch sashes, and a decorative brick eaves cornice. There are also corniced brick stacks on the left and right. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value.
