Description
The Church of England (Controlled) School, dated 1846, is a two-storey building constructed from hammer dressed stone with slate roofs. It features a central bay that is two storeys high, flanked by two single-storey bays on each side, all topped with gables that have copings and finials. The porch is inscribed with "1846 NATIONAL SCHOOLS" and has a three-light Tudor arched window above it. Each bay is adorned with a six-light stone mullioned-transomed window that is stepped at the top and has a hood mould, although one of the windows has been altered.
