Description
This is a pair of houses located on Wooldale Road, likely dating back to the 17th or early 18th century, although they have been significantly altered over time. The houses are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with quoins visible on the front, though the main facade is now rendered. They have a stone slate roof, and a recent dormer has been added. The houses are two storeys high. Details on the main elevation are largely obscured, but one original 3-light and one 2-light double chamfered window opening remain, both having been altered. In addition, a small chamfered window is still present. The right gable features two 2-light double chamfered windows, also altered. The left gable has one 2-light double chamfered window and two 19th-century openings. The houses are set within a group of similar buildings.
