Description
The lodge to Ravensknowle Park, built between 1859 and 1862, is an example of 19th-century architecture, likely designed by the architect Richard Tress. Constructed from ashlar stone, the building features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. It is a single-storey structure with a battered plinth and roll moulding, along with coved cornices at the eaves. The front facade includes three casement windows and one canted bay window. On the drive side, there is one casement window and a V-shaped bay. The entrance porch is supported by two pilasters and one column, which are adorned with delicate foliage capitals.
