Description

The gate to Number 2, The Old Clergy House, is located in the wall along the west side of The Old Clergy House in Almondbury. It was built in 1898 and designed by Edgar Wood. The gate is made of cast iron and features a distinctive Art Nouveau design, characterized by a double curved rail, a heart shape cut in the central muntin, and bars at either end that rise well above the rail, topped with disc-like capitals.
