Description
Nos 1, 3, and 5 South Lane are a row of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages rise to three storeys. For Nos 1 and 3, the ground floor has an entrance, along with one 2-light and one 3-light stone mullioned window, plus a further small light that may have been altered. On the first and second floors, there are two 4-light stone mullioned windows. No 5 has a recent porch with an entrance and one 3-light window, along with a 4-light window on the first floor and a 5-light window on the second floor.
