Description

This is a longhouse-type farmhouse, dating to 1851. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof. The building is two storeys tall. The first floor has one five-light stone mullioned window and one thirteen-light stone mullioned window, with four lights blocked. On the ground floor are one four-light, one three-light, and one four-light window, with one light blocked. Elliptically-headed barn doors are present, above which is a round-arched window. A semi-circular lunette is visible on the barn. A plaque above the door of No 4 is inscribed "MORE PLEASANT J & H Brooke AD 1851."
