Description

Nos 87 and 89 on Wakefield Road are mid-19th century buildings constructed of ashlar. Number 87 features a pitched stone slate roof, while number 89 has a hipped slate roof. Both buildings are two storeys high and include a band. The modern shops on the ground floor of these properties have different window arrangements: number 87 has two sash windows, and number 89 has one sash window along with another window facing Silver Street. The buildings have a rounded corner that is slightly sunk, and they form a cohesive group with number 91 and numbers 1 and 2 on Silver Street.
