Description

SE 10 NW OLD ROAD 4/232 (Hinchliffe Mill)

Nos 52, 54, 56, 58, 60 and 62 GV II

Terrace. Early C19 (altered). Hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Stone slate roof, part bitumen covered. One and 3 storeys. Six doorways and several single and 2-light windows. Small lean-to extension to centre. Rear elevation: many of window and door surrounds are rendered. Some mullions removed. Entrance and 3 or 4-light window to each dwelling. Three dwellings to left have further blocked doorway. No 56 has 2 later sashes. First floor: each dwelling has one 2-light and one 3-light window. No 26 has 2 later sashes. Second floor: four 6-light windows, 2 of which have 2 blocked lights, one altered 4-light window, one 3-light and two 2-light windows (one altered).
