Description
12 and 13 Booth Bank are a pair of cottages dating from the mid to late 18th century, forming part of a row. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone, with some areas rendered and painted. They feature a pitched stone slate roof that is covered in bitumen. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes two doorways with large lintels, a five-light stone mullioned window that is recessed and has a central sash, and a three-light stone mullioned window, also recessed. The first floor has a two-light stone mullioned window that is recessed, a three-light stone mullioned window that is recessed, and a four-light stone mullioned window that is recessed.
