Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century buildings on Church Street, part of a larger group. The buildings are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some areas rendered, and feature quoins. They have stone slate roofs, although the roof of No. 30 is covered with bitumen and the roof of No. 28 is turned. Gable copings are present, sitting on carved kneelers.

The south-west elevation has two central, four-light stone mullioned windows on each side, though two mullions have been removed from each. A doorway is situated to the left and right of the windows (the doorway to No. 28 being within a lean-to extension). The upper floor of No. 30 has one four-light stone mullioned window, while the upper floor of No. 28 has one former four-light window that has been reduced to three lights.
