Description
Bank Bottom Farmhouse and Barn is a farmhouse and adjoining barn dating from the early 18th century. The structure is built of coursed rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof and an ashlar stack. The farmhouse is two storeys high. The main house has a doorway set within a recent porch and an adjoining later window. To the left, there is a 5-light double chamfered stone mullioned window. On the first floor, there is one 3-light window and one 2 or 3-light window without mullions, both of which are double chamfered.
To the left, there is a slightly later two-storey addition that includes a later entrance and a 2-light double chamfered window on the ground floor, along with two recessed 2-light windows on the first floor, with the chamfered mullion remaining in only one of them to the right. There is also a later lean-to extension to the left. The barn to the right features a segmental arched doorway and an extension with a catslide roof to the right.
