Description

This is a row of eight identical buildings dating from the mid-19th century, located on the south side of Church Street. The buildings are constructed of ashlar stone and have pitched stone slate roofs. They are two storeys high, with stone brackets supporting the gutter line. Each building has eight sash windows. The front doors are set in plain raised frames with moulded cornices, and are topped with fanlights featuring glazing bars. Passage entrances are similarly detailed, with semi-circular fanlights, plain raised voussoirs, and moulded imposts.
