Description

The Church of St Patrick, a Roman Catholic church built in 1832, features an ashlar construction and a pitched slate roof with a coped gable end. The west front is adorned with two octagonal turrets topped with conical caps and foliate finials, along with diagonal buttresses that have crocketed pinnacles at the corners. The façade includes five ranges of untraceried chamfered lancets, which are separated by shallow buttresses leading to the aisles. The west front also has two untraceried chamfered lancets for the aisles and a three-light west window with Perpendicular tracery. There is a 20th-century Perpendicular one-storey exonarthox.

Inside, the church features a shallow ribbed apse with a triple lancet and quadripartite rib vaults supported by foliate corbels, along with a ridge rib. A gallery is located at the west end, resting on clustered columns.
