Description
New Greenwood Lee Farmhouse is a house from the mid 18th century, with an attached barn from the early 19th century. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. It has quoins and coped gables with kneelers. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of two cells. The ground floor has a double chamfered mullioned window that was originally designed with five lights, while the first floor has six lights with chamfered mullioned windows, although some mullions are missing. A porch with a stop-chamfered surround protects the doorway. There are two stacks on the ridge. The barn, located at the right end of the farmhouse, has a segmental arched cart entry with skewbacks and a circular owlhole above. There is also a mistal doorway to the right at a lower level.
