Description
Nos. 24 and 26 Rochdale Road is a late 17th century, two-storey house that has been converted into two cottages. The building is constructed of thin coursed hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. On the front, there are 19th century doorways inserted on the left and right sides. Between these doorways is a double chamfered mullioned window with five lights, which has a king mullion, although two of the mullions are missing. The first floor includes a six-light double chamfered mullioned window and two additional six-light double chamfered mullioned windows, all with king mullions. The building also has large ashlar quoins at the corners and a central stack on the ridge.
