Description

The Railway Viaduct over Stainland Road is a former railway structure built in 1875. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features 13 round arches supported by flat piers at the outermost bays. This viaduct was part of the Stainland branch line of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway.
