Nos 396 and 398 on Hollingwood Lane are an early 19th century row of low houses, dating from around 1820. The buildings are constructed from sandstone that has been painted and have been re-roofed with pantiles. They feature tall chimneys and two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds. The doorways have squared jambs. These properties are included for their group value.
