Description

This barn, located 15 metres south-west of Hole Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of thin coursed rubble with dressed quoins and features a stone slate roof. The barn consists of three bays, with a central cart-entry that has composite jambs and a segmental arch formed by two cantilevered stones, featuring a central joggled keystone. The gables do not have coping but retain their kneelers. On the left side, there are two doorways with composite jambs and quoined lintels that have a stop-chamfer. Additionally, there is a columbarium at the gable end. Inside, the barn has queen-strut trusses.
