Description
Nos 392 to 406 on Allerton Road are a group of cottages built around 1820. They are designed in an L shape and are two storeys high, constructed from sandstone bricks. The first floor features a sill band, and the roofs are made of stone slate, with spaced dentil brackets at the eaves. The cottages have three-light square mullioned windows on both floors, or alternatively, two-light square mullioned windows with a single light above the doorways. The doorways are framed by plain squared stone surrounds.
