Description

This is a row of two-storied cottages built around 1830-1840, numbered 2 to 8 (even) and 8A, on Church Lane, Esholt. The cottages are constructed of roughly squared sandstone blocks that resemble bricks. They have a stone slate roof with corniced chimneys and block brackets supporting the gutter eaves. The ground floor has two-light, square mullioned windows that lack frames. Small casement windows are found on the first floor. The doorways are plain.
