Description
12 Church Street is a building likely dating from the 18th century. It is irregular in shape and is situated between neighboring buildings on both sides. The structure has two storeys and is constructed from coursed dressed stone. The upper floor features two unmatching windows; the top left appears to have been a former bay door, while the top right has a slab surround. On the ground floor, the left side has a wide opening with slab jambs and a lintel, and the right side features a modern bow window. A modern central doorway is present, and the roof is made of stone slabs. This building is part of a group that includes the Parish Church of All Saints, three stone crosses south of the church, seven headstones grouped southwest of the church, and Nos 4-6 and 12-18 (even) Church Street.
