Description

The front garden wall of Marley, dating from the 17th century, is constructed of coursed rubble with an ashlar coping. The wall rises above a segmental-arched entrance, and above this entrance is a gable that features a stone bearing the Saville arms, topped with a finial, which was covered in ivy at the time of the survey. The wall is also adorned with roll-moulded saddle-back coping.
