Description
No. 152-158 Bradford Road is a row of two-storey cottages built around 1820, constructed from sandstone that resembles brick. The cottages feature bedded block brackets at the eaves beneath stone slate roofs, which have shallow gable copings. Each cottage has corniced chimneys and two-light square mullion windows on both floors, with a single light window above the doorway, all set in flush stone frames. The former public house, known as The Quarry Arms, is double fronted and has the same type of windows, along with a modern porch. This building is noted for its group value.
