Description
This is a row of six cottages, numbers 176 to 182 Bradford Road, built around 1820 to 1830. The cottages are constructed of sandstone "brick" with stone slate roofs. Numbers 180 and 182 are similar in design to numbers 160 to 164, featuring a sill band and matching window types. Numbers 176 and 178 have projecting brackets under the eaves and two-light square mullion windows, flush-framed, on both floors, with a smaller single-light window above each doorway. The row is notable for being largely unaltered and is included on the list for its architectural interest.
