Description

This building is a stepped row of sandstone "brick" cottages located at 898-906 and 896A Great Horton Road, dating from around 1820 to 1830. The cottages feature stone slate roofs with shallow eaves brackets that are spaced apart. They have band corniced chimneys and two-light square mullion windows, along with framed and squared jamb doorways. Notably, No 906 is set back and has a small light above its doorway. The row is included for its group value.
