Description

Nos 1, 2, and 3 Chapel Fold are located in Wibsey and date from around 1840, with No 3 having origins from the late 17th century or early 18th century. Nos 1 and 2 are a pair of low, one-storey houses made of sandstone "brick," featuring bracketed eaves and stone slate roofs, along with tall coursed chimneys. They have plain windows and door surrounds. No 3 is a two-storey cottage constructed of painted coursed gritstone, distinguished by large quoins. It has a stone slate roof with saddlestones and features single and two-light framed square mullioned windows from around 1800, as well as two-light square mullioned windows at the rear.
