Description

House, dating circa 1844, and possibly a remodelling of an earlier building. The construction is of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof. The building features three side wall, three gable, and three ridge stacks, all with coped lozenge-shaped flues, with the side wall and gable stacks being multiple. It is in the Tudor Revival style.

The exterior displays a chamfered plinth, quoins, coped gables with kneelers, and coped parapets. The building is two stories plus garrets, with a five-window range. Most windows are wood mullioned casements with label moulds. The central block includes two buttresses and three three-light windows. A square porch with a Tudor arched two-leaf door is situated to the left below these windows. To the right of the porch are two tall three-light windows. The larger left wing possesses a three-light window, and above it, a single light. Below the single light is a larger four-light window. The smaller right wing mirrors this fenestration.

The left return showcases a two-story square stone bay window with two three-light stone cross-mullioned windows on each floor. Above this bay window is a three-light stone mullioned window. A set back range is positioned to the left, featuring a stone three-light cross mullioned window above and a small square light below. The right return has an off-centre first-floor wooden oriel window with glazing bar casements. To its left are a two-light and a single-light casement windows, with three windows below – one, two, and three lights respectively. A single window range to the right has a three-light window above and a double glazing bar casement below, with a central stone mullion.

The interior was not inspected.
