Description

This ice house, located 150 meters southeast of Banner Cross Hall in Sheffield, is likely designed by Sir Jeffry Wyatville for General Murray. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and exhibits a classical style. The structure features a curved front retaining wall with incomplete coping and has a blocked central entrance that is flanked by single round-headed niches.
