Description
Commonside Farmhouse and adjoining farm buildings are a pair of cottages, now functioning as a farmhouse, dating from around 1800, with additions made in the mid-19th century. The structure is built from coursed squared stone and features a stone slate roof with a central brick ridge stack. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range of 19th-century three-light casements on each floor, with a board door on either side. All openings are topped with stone lintels. To the right is a lower stable made of brick, with a stone slate roof and a renewed stable door, accompanied on the left by a small window. To the left of the farmhouse is a smaller lean-to outbuilding that has a stable door. The interior has not been inspected.
