Description

This barn, located southeast of number 31 Northgate, dates from the 17th century or earlier. It was formerly the rear wing of number 29, which has since been demolished. The structure is timber-framed with rubble walls and a pantiled roof. On the north side, three posts are visible. There is one boarded door and one boarded loading door at the west end of the north side, along with various other blocked openings. It was likely originally built as a dwelling before being converted into a barn.
