Description

Nos 15 and 17 Northgate are 18th century buildings, possibly older, featuring a roughcast exterior and a pantiled roof with coped gables and one cut kneeler. The structure is two storeys high and has five bays with cased sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor has modern openings. At the rear, there is a timber-framed wing that is older but also roughcast. The first floor was originally jettied, with the jetty still just visible on the north side. Inside, you can see posts, wind-braced wall-plates, and crown-post trusses, and the first floor has a plaster floor.
