Description

Forge Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of rubble limestone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys with two windows on the first floor. To the left of the centre, there is a part-glazed door that has a wooden lintel above it. The flanking windows are two-light designs with horizontally-sliding sashes, louvred shutters, and wooden lintels. The first-floor windows are similar but have stone lintels. The cottage is adorned with shaped kneelers and square-cut gable copings, and it has brick stacks at the ends.
