Description
The remains of a 17th-century house are now incorporated within a range of farm buildings located approximately 30 meters northeast of Park Farmhouse. This structure is built from ashlar sandstone and features a stone slate roof. It stands two stories tall and has a single window on the first floor. The chamfered plinth steps down at the central doorway, which has a chamfered opening and a deep lintel. A hoodmould extends over the flanking three-light, chamfered mullioned windows, which are currently unglazed. Above the door, there is an intact four-light mullioned window. There are 20th-century lean-to buildings added to the front and rear, and the right return wall has been opened up to connect with an adjacent barn. Inside, some of the original floor structure remains. This site is located near the well-preserved moated site of Frickley Old Hall, from which no buildings survive.
