Description
No. 6 Bishopgate Street is a house built around 1830-1835. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and three bays. The windows are sashed and have brick flat arches above them. The porch is supported by fluted Doric columns and includes pilaster responds, a plain frieze, and a shallow plain lead-covered cornice with mutules. The door is divided and partly glazed, with margin panes, and the rectangular overlight has geometrical glazing. The timber gutter is held up by paired brackets, and there are ridge chimneys on both the left and right sides. The interior has not been inspected.
