Description
No. 7 Bishopgate Street is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of brick and has a concrete tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features one bay. The ground-floor window is fixed and has glazing bars, while the first-floor window is a 20th-century casement set into an earlier sash box. The doorway, located on the left side, is framed by a doorcase with engaged reeded columns, a plain frieze, and a small leaded hood. The door itself is faced with hardboard, and the overlight above it has margin panes. The gutter is supported by paired rectangular brackets, and there is a chimney on the right-hand gable. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value with other early 19th-century houses on Bishopgate Street.
