Description
67 Low Petergate is a former house now functioning as a shop, with origins dating back to the late 14th century. It features a rear extension from around 1600 and underwent alterations in the mid-19th century, with a shopfront added and renovations completed in 1955. The building is timber-framed and has a stuccoed front, topped with a pantile roof.
The exterior showcases a three-storey, one-bay front with jettied first and second floors. The shop window is bowed with small-pane glazing and a moulded sill, accompanied by a small-pane glazed and panelled shop door to the left. The first-floor windows are Yorkshire sashes, consisting of two and four-pane lights, while the second floor features three sets of two-pane lights. Inside, the timber frame is exposed on the ground floor.
