Description
This is a house located at 34 The Old Village, dating from the mid-18th century with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick in a random bond pattern and features a French tile roof. The layout consists of a three-cell through-passage plan, with an original continuous outshut at the rear that has been raised to two storeys. The house has four first-floor windows. The entrance includes a six-panel door set beneath an elliptical brick arch. To the left and extreme right of the door are 20th-century bay windows, and there is a six-pane sash window immediately to the right, also beneath an elliptical arch. The first floor has a band and six-pane sashes. The building has end and ridge stacks.
