Description

This building comprises a shop and flats, dating to approximately 1840. It is constructed of grey-brown brick and stucco, with a slate roof. The exterior presents a symmetrical design of three storeys and three bays. The ground floor features an original 19th-century stucco shopfront, characterised by elaborate pilasters, a cornice, and lead-covered caps to the end brackets. The facade incorporates brick pilaster strips on the left and right sides, along with a projecting central bay. Windows are glazing bar sashes, with a sill band on the second floor. The central first-floor window is distinguished by a moulded architrave with a cornice supported by console brackets, and a timber balustrade. The second-floor window above has a similar architrave. A gutter cornice is supported by projecting timber brackets. The building is finished with gable chimneys. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
