Description
Holly House is a house that likely dates from the mid to late 18th century and has undergone later alterations and additions, including an outshut at the rear. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and has a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and features five bays. The central entrance consists of a plank door with an overlight above it. Throughout the house, there are four long-pane Yorkshire sash windows, and all openings are set under flat arches made of red rubbed brick. A stepped band runs along the first floor, and there is a dentil eaves band. The house has end stacks. Inside, the rear staircase features column-on-vase balusters that are likely reused from the 18th century.
