Description
No. 218 Mount Vale is a house built around 1820, with later alterations from the 19th century. The front is made of stucco, while the side is painted brick. It features timber eaves guttering supported by paired modillions and has a shallow pitched slate roof with painted brick and rendered stacks.
The exterior has a two-storey, three-bay front. The entrance consists of a panelled front door with an overlight that has curvilinear glazing bars, set within a doorcase supported by detached reeded columns and an entablature. Flanking the entrance are two-storey canted bay windows, each with one-pane sashes on both floors and a moulded cornice at the top. Above the door, there is another one-pane sash window. The interior has not been inspected.
