Description

No 104 is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some minor alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of yellow-brown brick in Flemish bond, with later refacing to the lower courses, and has a pantile roof. The building features a two-room layout with a central entrance hall and a continuous rear outshut. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and has three symmetrical bays.

The entrance is marked by a pilastered doorcase with an entablature and a flat hood, leading to a half-glazed panelled door beneath a dentilled lintel and a plain overlight in the reveal. The windows are 19th-century four-pane sashes set in slightly recessed wooden architraves, with sills beneath keyed stucco flat arches. Above the entrance is a slightly narrower painted dummy window. The building has a stepped and dentilled brick eaves cornice, with stone-coped gables featuring shaped kneelers. There is an end stack to the left, while the right stack has been removed. Small attic casements are present in the gable ends.

Inside, the ground floor on the left side has a chamfered spine beam and arched alcoves flanking the fireplace, while the right side has a boxed-in spine beam. The interior has not been fully investigated. At the time of the resurvey, the property was empty and unoccupied.
