Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later alterations and additions, including a rear wing built in 1842 and a 19th-century entrance porch. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with yellow brick additions at the rear, and has a concrete tile roof. It is L-shaped in plan, featuring a two-room central entrance hall with a wing to the rear left. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays, arranged symmetrically.
The entrance porch projects and has a flat roof, with a doorcase that includes Doric half-columns supporting a plain entablature with a cornice and a hood that extends around the sides of the porch. The entrance features a half-glazed six-panel door beneath a radial fanlight set in an arched panelled reveal. The windows are 16-pane sashes set in flush wooden architraves with sills and stucco cambered arches. There is a three-course band at the first floor. On the first floor, a central 16-pane sash is flanked by 20th-century casements in the original openings, all beneath painted brick cambered arches with a three-course brick band above. The eaves are stepped, and there are stacks at the ends of the building.
