Description
Worlaby Hall is a house dating from around 1807, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built of cement-rendered brick that is incised to resemble ashlar, and it has a concrete-tile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, featuring a central entrance hall on the south front and a two-room wing at the rear left. It is two storeys high with three symmetrical bays and has quoins at the corners.
Access to the house is via a flight of five stone steps that lead to a 20th-century door, which is set beneath a plain overlight and a channelled stucco cambered arch. The ground floor features 20th-century four-pane flush sash windows with projecting sills and channelled stucco cambered arches. On the first floor, there are similar windows in the side bays, with a narrower sash window in the central bay. The second floor has smaller four-pane sashes with plain stucco cambered arches. The eaves board is plain, and the gables are raised and stone-coped. There are 20th-century stacks at the ends of the building.
