Description

Nos 37 and 39 Fleetgate is an 18th-century building featuring a modern single-storey shop front extension. The structure has two storeys and attics, constructed from colour-washed brick with a pantile roof and brick gable ends. No 39 has modern tiles. The centre of the building projects slightly and includes five hung sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with stucco flat arches that have keystones. There are three pedimented dormers, with the central one having a segmental pediment. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top. Outbuildings from the same period are located in front of Castledyke West.
