Description

WORLABY THE HILL TA 01 SW (north side, off) 5/43 Gate piers approximately 6/11/67 65 metres south of Worlaby Hall GV II Gate piers. c1660s. Limestone ashlar. Pair of square section piers, each with moulded plinth, 3 rusticated courses and ball finial on moulded base. Erected for the hall of John, Lord Bellasis, the remains of which lie to the north-east.
