Description
The gates, flanking walls, and railings located 25 metres south of The Old Vicarage, also known as Old Vicarage Lodge, were built in 1829 for Reverend Charles Sheffield. They feature wrought iron gates and railings, alongside a grey gault brick wall constructed in Flemish Bond with ashlar coping. The gates lead to the former Vicarage and are flanked by railings on dwarf walls that ramp up at the ends to a height of approximately 2 metres. This structure is included partly for its group value.
