Description

46 Toll Gavel is an early 18th-century building that was refronted in the mid-19th century. It has two storeys and features a rendered and rusticated exterior that curves to fit the site, topped with a slate roof. The building has three windows on the upper floor and one on the lower, all with decorative surrounds that include entablatures with paterae and cornices supported by brackets adorned with leaf ornament. The windows are hung sashes without glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is included as part of a visual group.
