Description

This section of ruined walling, likely dating from the 16th century, is located on the east side of Wressle Castle. It is constructed of red brick and measures approximately 30 metres in length and 2 metres in height. On the south side, there is a red brick arch, which is probably a fireplace, and attached to it is a cell that is approximately 15 metres in diameter, lined in brick and featuring a doorway. The site is scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
