Description

The bridge over the dry medieval moat at Scorborough Hall dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings. The bridge features a single round arch beneath a raised parapet, which has coping that incorporates numerous reused stones, seemingly from the medieval period. The design includes curved splays.
